Product introduction

  1. The general structure of fume hood is upper and lower type.


  2. There are airflow deflector, touchscreen for circuit controls, power socket, etc. in the upper hood with transparent tempered glass window for operators to move freely in four directions;


  3. The lower hood adopts lab work bench style to conduct various experiments and is equipped with water faucet if needed. The hood body is installed under lab bench and is equipped with inside sewers and used for storing experiment supplies;


  4. There is an up-down transparent door (mostly glass) at the middle front of the hood with the normal opening height of 100-600 mm. The work bench is set behind the door with wiring of water pipes, sewers, power supplies, vacuum pumps, gas lines, etc. for required experiments and with a protective covered lamp upfront;


  5. The air is extracted by the ventilation fan in the upper front of the

  hood, or led to other place through tubes (called full ventilation), or recycled through filtration (called tubeless ventilation);


  6. Normal dimension of the fume hood: Length: 1,200mm,1,500mm, 1,800mm; width: 850mm; height:2,350mm. For 1-3 operators to use at the same time, the fume hood is generally installed against the wall.


  7. The operator should stand or sit in front of the cabinet, lower the glass door as


  much as possible, and conduct the experiment with hands through under the door. There won’t be lots of harmful gases spill under normal conditions since the ventilation fan extracts air inward through the opening door.


Material Description

  1. Instrument Panel: It adopts microelectronic touchscreen control panel which indicates power, lighting, spare (switch) and running indication light, etc.


  2. Protection Device: Independent power supply, socket, leakage, overload, short circuit and other fault protection devices.


  3. Lighting: It adopts replaceable 40W fluorescent lamp hidden on the top plate (luminance no less than 300LX) and doesn’t contact with the airflow in the fume hood and the soft connection at the top plate has a decompression release effect on the explosion.


  4. Socket: The 220V universal socket is installed on the external front of the hood and each fume hood is provided with two universal sockets on both sides; All the sockets meet the CCC standards.


  Notes: Each fume hood is equipped with air valve, reducing, tee-junction, and elbow. Additional air duct and air fan shall be charged separately.
